Varieties of apple trees.

The apple cultivation is years of the pillars of Greek horticulture. Varieties of nurseries

EARLY CHIEF - This variant of Red Chiefs, with intense color, more masourato wrist and pronounced the mastoid process. Matures a week earlier than Golden. GOLDEN SMOOTHEE - Fruit known yellow, and quite large especially flavoring and aromatic. All the Golden team clones are harvested in mid-September.

FYRIKIA - Greek traditional variety, with high productivity. Matures around 20/9. Fruit small, yellow-red, very delicious and fluffy. Be planted together with Golden, Grand Smith, Red Chiefs etc. Some years not sent off, which is due to inadequate nutrition and pruning. In recent years, due to increased demand replanted rather pretty. Desired by traders farmer's markets.

GRANNY SMITH - Old, proven variety durable. In recent years has been selecting and lowlands. Matures around 15/10. Fruit green, large, crisp and tight, tasty, with a slightly sour taste.
